Sports Hostels
Rajiv Gandhi School Of Sports:
An autonomous institution fully funded by Government.
100 young Students ( 6th to 12th std) having special sports skills are selected and accommodated in the Rajiv Gandhi School of Sports and continue to get the special coaching in the games like Football, Hockey, Volleyball, Athletic and Badminton
The students pursue their studies in the urban area Schools.
Entire expenditure of Rs. 65 Lakhs on their board, lodging is borne by the RGSS.
15 acres of land allotted to RGSS in Kalapet revenue village for construction of own campus.
At present housed in the Indira Gandhi sports complex
SAI State training centre is also accommodated in the above campus.
Nutritious food at Rs. 80/- per day per student spent.
Prepares students for participation in National and international Competitions
